A client site experienced issues talking with a recently installed battery system. After significant troubleshooting, there were no immediate identifiable problems. SISO recognized the need for a deeper inspection of the traffic in the system, and SISO installed Wireshark on a laptop and set up a mirror port on the network switch to capture data. We analyzed the data to look for Modbus packets and address requests. With Wireshark, we found a network issue and diagnosed the PSCA was no longer requesting data from the end device. SISO resolved this with a reboot of the IO Pack.
