During routine monitoring, our performance evaluation dashboards detected a sharp degradation curve on the compressor over a short period of time. This trend signaled a loss of output and prompted SISO to direct the customer that a water wash was needed to recover lost megawatts. The data also pointed to dirty water infiltrating the high pressure compressor, which was an underlying issue that required immediate attention.
With the enhanced monitoring features in SnapShot V1.8, these insights were quickly and clearly identifiable. What might have once required extensive troubleshooting and manual diagnoses was identified in near real time, allowing the customer to act before experiencing significant performance loss or hardware damage.
