SmartWash automates the entire gas turbine waterwash process – water heating, detergent mixing, injection timing, and rinse cycles. Traditional manual GT water wash suffers from inconsistent results, timing errors, and improper chemical ratios. SmartWash eliminates these problems through complete automation, delivering repeatable gas turbine water wash effectiveness every cycle. What is gas turbine water wash?
Gas turbine water wash (GT waterwash) injects water and detergent into the compressor to remove fouling. Regular gas turbine waterwash maintains efficiency by removing dirt and salt that reduces turbine performance.
SmartWash automates the entire gas turbine waterwash process including water temperature, detergent mixing, and injection timing. Automated GT waterwash delivers consistent results and eliminates manual errors common in traditional gas turbine water wash procedures.
Then SmartWash system tells you when to wash. Online gas turbine waterwash frequency depends on operating environment – coastal plants may need daily GT waterwash while cleaner locations need weekly procedures. Offline gas turbine waterwash typically occurs every 3-6 months during scheduled maintenance outages.
Online gas turbine waterwash occurs while the turbine runs at reduced load with lighter detergent concentrations for frequent cleaning. Offline GT water wash uses stronger detergents and longer soak times during shutdowns for deep cleaning. SmartWash automates both types.
